Privacy Policy
Last updated:
10xForge ("we", "us", "our") provides hands-on engineering training programs. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect from you when you use this website or register for our trainings, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver the training and communicate with you about it:
- Registration form data: full name, email, phone, city, company, role, LinkedIn URL (optional), how you heard about us, and any notes you choose to share.
- Interest form data: full name, email, phone, city, and any message you include.
- Payment confirmations: a record that an admin has verified your payment. We do not collect or store card numbers, CVVs, or bank account details — payment is handled out of band.
- Server logs: IP address, user agent, and request path, retained for security and abuse prevention.
2. How we use your information
- To process your registration and confirm your seat.
- To send you payment instructions and pre-training logistics.
- To notify you when a relevant batch becomes available, if you have submitted an interest form.
- To improve the curriculum and the registration experience.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
3. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with: (a) the instructors delivering your training, limited to what they need to teach you; (b) service providers we use to send transactional email and host the website, under contractual confidentiality obligations; and (c) authorities when we are legally required to do so.
4. How long we keep your information
We retain registration and interest records for as long as necessary to provide the service and to maintain an audit trail. You may request that we redact your personal data at any time (see Section 6). Redaction replaces your name, email, phone, and other identifying fields with a placeholder while preserving the audit record of administrative actions.
5. How we protect your information
We use industry-standard practices: HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords for staff accounts, parameterized database queries, server-side input validation, CSRF and rate-limiting controls, and the principle of least privilege for staff access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond promptly to any incident.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to redact your personal information from our systems.
- Withdraw your consent to receive batch notifications by replying to any of our emails or contacting us at the address below.
7. Children
Our trainings are intended for working software engineers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects when changes took effect. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for a reasonable period.
9. Contact
